Scuba Divers Had a Terrifying Experience with a Large Anaconda

What would you do if an anaconda came your way? Fear and almost fainting! You are not the only one feeling this way, an anaconda can be frightening to look at and could make anyone scream. Imagine seeing this creature. This is the sigh that a diver in the river Formoso exhaled.

This giant snake lives in dark and murky waters in South America. The snake can grow to over 4 meters in length, with some specimens even reaching 3 meters. This creature was not common to be seen in the Formoso River, which has clean and clear water. However, the diver did see it.

This river is the only one that allows you to dive in this manner when there are predators around. Only if you’re brave enough to try! Juca Ygarape, Bartolomeo bove and Bartolomeo Bove braved the anaconda that measured 7+ meters in length and weighed more than 90 kilograms. This video shows the animal resting at river bottom, but escaping when it sees the camera.

It was a frightening encounter

This is definitely not the place for anxious people. Bove isn’t just a tourist. He is also a professional diver. He was lucky enough to be able to see the huge snake from the river. He said that the waters around Bonito are crystal clear and you can only see anacondas and dive around them. The anacondas in the video clip were very relaxed and didn’t mind being photographed. This means that diving with anacondas may not be too dangerous, provided you don’t disturb them too much.

This green anaconda is part of the largest and most massive snakes in the world. It can grow to over 9 meters in length and weighs up to 250kg. Although it does not have any venom that can harm humans, it can kill preys of its own size and larger. Although many reports claim that such large specimens exist, not one person was captured on camera. Some reports in Brazil suggest that some people may have been eaten by enormous anacondas and gone missing from these jungles.

Although it instills fear, this reptile is amazing to view, even from a camera. If you are able to, check out the video of Bove!
