Natural Fabric Softener that Beats Store-Bought Products

All of us know that fabric softeners and cleaners sold in stores are full harmful chemicals. Despite knowing or not, we still use these products. There are many options to make your own fabric softener that doesn’t harm the environment or your home.

We have a recipe for DIY fabric softener that includes white vinegar. White vinegar is a strong cleaner that can easily deal with soap residue and minimize static. White vinegar is high in sodium and potassium, which can soften hard water. It’s an excellent choice if you live near such an area.

What is White Vinegar?

Double fermentation of distilled alcohol is what makes white vinegar. Even though it has the same health benefits as apple cider vinegar, white vinegar is less acidic than that. Although it is not as healthy as ACV vinegar, white vinegar can be used as a natural cleaner and as a base for DIY fabric softeners. White vinegar will not only soften your clothes, but it will also make them whiter. It will also keep your dark clothes from getting too white.

This DIY fabric softener can restore the brightness of white laundry that isn’t washing well. White vinegar’s mild acetic acid won’t cause any damage to the fabric unlike store-bought softeners. It is strong enough to dissolve stubborn stains and remove any residue.

It will keep dark clothes looking brighter, without causing any damage to the fabric.
